This batch of first year students will start their undergraduate degrees under flexible learning arrangements, which will employ out-of-classroom methods given government restrictions on face-to-face classes amid the coronavirus threat. The management recognizes that there is a difference when compared to the supervised physical examination administered by PLM. University officials scrutinized the results of the online PLMAT before it was considered as one of the basis for accepting new students, alongside high school grades. Although it is effectively the third extension of the application deadline, the University allowed late applicants to join the online PLMAT last June 11, which was the last admission exam for the upcoming school year. The University had received over 20,000 applicants as of January 2020 but decided to accommodate other aspiring PLM students who were not able to take the entrance examinations scheduled March 15 and 22 due to the declaration of enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila. All passers have been assigned a degree program. The final list includes the 5,000 passers and 500 waitlisted applicants announced in May and adds another 1,424 passers, generated from the remaining applicants who took the physical and online PLMAT.
